As a technology brand, DTS does a large portion of their marketing at all the big tech conferences each year (CES, E3, NAB, IBC). We have built several spectacular booths for them over the years, as well as all the demos and theatre content for their products. Here are some of the experiential campaigns I have created for them.

CES 2013

Play-Fi House: Users could send different songs wirelessly to different rooms and have dancers react to the different genres. People lined up to be able to interact with the home and there was a constant crowd surrounding our booth watching the show.

Case Story: Here is a taste of the overall booth experience:

Chip Wall: Since DTS is an ingredient brand, the chip is how DTS makes 2.5 billion devices sound amazing. This video was created to celebrate the DTS chip and was designed specifically for the giant on-floor screen (hence the awkward player below).

CES 2014

The following year, we opted for a giant mobile phone to act as a stage for sound artists, audio illusionists and other performances. Headphone: X was the lead horse in their product line this year so 50 listening stations were set up to experience the show as well as on-screen demos.

The HPX Listening Experience: What better way to showcase surround sound in your headphones than augmented reality so that you could see yourself in the middle of the scene? We turned the theatre into a surreal alien takeover experience which left attendees mesmerized by the product and the experience.

A full campaign was also launched across Vegas to drive people to the DTS booth.  From the giant screens at the airport to the majority of taxi tops, aliens and odd-beings summoned you to come visit.

CES 2014 Tour: The video below captures a little more of the booth experience as well as short interviews with our extremely happy clients over the success of yet another booth.

DTS Party Presence:

DTS loves the throw epic after-parties during CES and E3. Bringing the brand out after dark has always been a fun perk of the job. Below are t-shirts that you could actually plug a pair of headphones into to demo Headphone:X. Needless the say these ladies were very popular.
